Terms

These terms cover thebavault.com, the courses, ebooks and AI coaching sold on it, and your membership if you join. They are a contract between you and Beyond Amazing Limited. By creating an account or buying anything here you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the Vault.

Who we are

Beyond Amazing Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, number 12713196, registered office Office One, 1 Coldbath Square, Farringdon, London EC1R 5HL. We are VAT-registered, and every price on this site includes VAT. To contact us about these terms, use the form at beyondamazing.co.uk/contact.

Who the Vault is for

The Vault is for working professionals. You must be 18 or over to buy anything or hold an account. An account is yours alone: one person, one login. Sharing a login, or reselling or redistributing anything you find inside, ends your access without refund.

What you are buying

A single course (£30). One topic: the six-module video course, the full ebook as a PDF, and the AI coach for that topic. It is yours to use for as long as the Vault exists. It is not a membership and does not carry Keys.

Membership (£79 a month or £699 a year). On the first of each month you receive one Silver Key. A Silver Key opens any one course in the library. Keys expire three months after they are issued and are spent oldest first, so you can hold three at most. A course you open stays open for as long as your membership continues, whether or not you finish it. Annual members can buy Gold Keys in packs; Gold Keys never expire and are spent only after your Silver Keys. Your queue holds up to four courses and opens the next one automatically when a Key arrives.

Founder and other invitation rates. From time to time we offer membership at a rate that is not on the public price list, by email invitation only. An invitation rate holds for as long as that membership runs without a break. Lapse and rejoin, and the public rate applies.

Corporate seats are sold under a separate written agreement.

Prices and payment

Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Membership renews automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose, until you cancel. We can change prices; a change to a membership price takes effect at your next renewal after we have given you at least 30 days' notice by email. An invitation rate is not changed while the membership it was granted on runs continuously.

Cancelling and refunds

Your right to change your mind. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day of purchase to cancel and receive a full refund. Because the Vault is digital content, you will be asked at checkout to agree that we can give you access straight away and that, once you start using what you bought, you lose the right to cancel. If you do not tick that box you will not receive access until the 14 days have passed. The cancellation page at thebavault.com/cancellation explains how to cancel and includes the model form.

Cancelling a membership later. Cancel at any time from your account page. Your membership runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and does not renew. We do not refund part of a month or part of a year. Unspent Keys lapse when the membership ends.

After a membership ends. Your account moves to archive mode. You keep read access to everything you wrote (journal entries, reflections, exercise answers, before-and-after baselines, certificates). The videos, the coach and Joe stop until you rejoin. Rejoin and full access returns at once.

Your £30 courses counted against membership. If you join within 90 days of buying a £30 course, the £30 is credited against your membership payments, starting with the first. Every £30 course you bought in those 90 days counts, and any credit left after the first payment carries over to the next until it is used up. The courses stay yours.

If we get something wrong. If a course does not work as described and we cannot put it right within a reasonable time, we refund what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under UK law.

The AI coach and Joe

The coach and Joe are AI. They are built on the course material and on what you tell them, and they are good at helping you think. They are not a person, and nothing they say is professional advice, medical, legal, financial or HR. Use your own judgement, and take anything that matters to a qualified adviser. Do not put into the coach anything you would not want held on a server: no other people's personal or confidential information.

Your content

What you write in the Vault, journal entries, reflections, answers, stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to feed the relevant parts to the coach so it can respond to you. We do not read it, publish it or use it to train anything. If you are on a corporate seat, the person who bought the seat can see whether you are active and how far through a course you are. They cannot see what you write.

Our content

The courses, ebooks, videos, diagnostics and the words the coach uses belong to Beyond Amazing Limited. You have a licence to use them for your own development. You may not copy, share, record, resell or build on them.

Availability and changes

We keep the Vault running and fix what breaks, but we do not promise it will never be down. We add courses, and occasionally retire or rewrite one; a course you have opened stays available to you in its current form or a better one. If we ever close the Vault we will give members at least 60 days' notice and refund any period paid for beyond the closing date.

Liability

We are not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity arising from your use of the Vault, or for any loss we could not reasonably have foreseen. Our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. None of this limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else the law does not let us limit.

The rest

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; we change the date at the top and, for a change that matters to members, we email you first.
